In Spring 2017, we began a new tradition for undergraduates studying Bioinformatics at UCLA. On June 7th, we hosted an end-of-year celebration to recognize and congratulate the efforts that 2016-17 graduates and graduating seniors made in coursework and research. We presented twenty certificates of recognition for studies in Bioinformatics, and we awarded three cash prizes for excellence in Bioinformatics research.
